Instruction on your boat:
We will work with you to develop an instruction plan.
Basic topics typically include: feeling comfortable on board, communication among the crew, sailing terms, parts of the boat, rigging, safety at sea, leaving the dock or mooring, points-of-sail, going from point A to point B no matter the wind condition, stopping gracefully, anchoring, returning to a dock or mooring, rules of the road, navigational markers, and crew-overboard procedures.

Price — $80 per hour; minimum 4 hours.
Instruction on our Crealock 37:
This instruction will be individualized.
Examples of topics include: refresher course to brush-up your skills, cruising skills, setting the sails under various wind conditions, balance of the helm, planning a route, basic reading of charts, basic navigational techniques, getting the most out of your new boat, effective communication with your crew, anchoring, weather and safety, sailing by a compass, and sailing faster.

Cruises:
We customize our trips to meet your desires. You may participate in the sailing or just sit back and enjoy the ride! We use our Crealock 37 for cruises.

Price - A cruise lasting 4 hours is $240 per person, with a minimum of $480.

Hartge Yacht Yard in Galesville, Maryland. Our marina is about 11 miles south of Annapolis and is within an hour's drive of most places in the DC–Baltimore metropolitan area. We will send directions to you once you register. |
